Irish Draught stallions are included in the Irish Horse Register, upon passing inspection and performance testing they are approved with RID status. To learn more about the inspection process please read, IDHS Studbook and Register information.

To locate an approved stallion in Ireland click on the name of the County to view the stallions standing in that county.

The IDHS maintains the Breed Standard. RID stallions are included in the Irish Sport Horse Studbook and it is available from the IHB either as a printed book or PDF from their website.

RID stallion owners are encouraged to contact the IDHS Administrator, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it   with contact address changes and to send us photos of your stallion to be added to the IDHS RID Stallion Locator Map.

The IDHS RID Stallion Locator Map last updated 05 January 2008, in accordance with the IHB stallion book 2006-2007 and updated information from the IDHS Administrator. We've added more photos too. Please help us find those photos that we're still missing.

A list of Stallions will appear in the bottom left hand box Click on the name you wish to view. The entry will be shown in the main window displaying the horse pedigree, owner, statistical and progeny information. IHR and RID numbers for registered stallions. Printable pedigrees.
